Alex Calderon has been named General Manager of Glades Media’s West Palm Beach stations WLLY and WWRF effective immediately. In his new position, Calderon will be responsible for overseeing all broadcasting, digital and sales for the West Palm Beach Market.
Calderon spent the past 16 years with Glades doing on-air work, traffic and sales. He started in Clewiston on WAFC and eventually moved over to WLLY in West Palm Beach.
“Alex is one of the hardest working people that I know. I think he will be the perfect leader for our West Palm Beach stations. Just by talking to Alex you will see that Radio is in his heart,” said Brian Johnson, Glades Media COO.
“It will be a challenge, I’m sure of that. But I like challenges! I am positive and very motivated to do a lot of good things! I feel proud to be a part of something so beautiful, so unique and so special, called Radio,” Said Calderon.
