Glades Media is seeking a proven radio professional to lead WOKC and WJNX —two heritage stations serving the heart of South Florida. This is a unique opportunity to manage while driving revenue across several markets.
Located within reach of Fort Pierce, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, and the South Florida region, Okeechobee, Clewiston and LaBelle offer a strong sense of community, loyal local advertisers, and a growing business base—ideal for a broadcaster looking to make a real impact while enjoying a more affordable, quality lifestyle.
We’re looking for someone who understands that today’s Station Manager must be both a leader and a seller—equally comfortable coaching a team as they are closing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations for WOKC & WJNX
- Lead from the front with active billing
- Recruit, train, and motivate sales talent
- Grow local and regional revenue through direct and agency business
- Collaborate on programming, promotions, and community engagement
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong background in radio sales and/or sales management
- Demonstrated success in revenue growth and team leadership
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset
- Open to relocation or currently based in Florida
Compensation:
- Base salary + override on all sales
- Uncapped earning potential tied to total market performance
